Show stopping 1981 green and brown Chanel Couture six piece ensemble including a jacket, blouse, skirt, scarf, brooch and belt. Mandarin collar jacket with green, brown and cream passimenterie trim. Carved gold buttons with brown centres. Patch pockets at hips with matching passimenterie trim in a curved v shape. Brown silk lining with the iconic Chanel gold chain at interior hem. Pussy bow silk blouse features abstract horizontal stripes in shades of brown. Bishop sleeves with French cuffs. Skirt is high waisted with inverted box pleats. Waist of skirt is embellished with a beautiful gold tone braided belt with amber cabochons and two tassels. The ensemble is completed with a large matching tweed scarf with a large ruffle detail that looks like a caplet when wearing over the jacket. Scarf is secured with a gold tone spiralled chain brooch. Incredible ensemble that can be worn so many different ways. Very good vintage condition - two small holes at waist of blouse that are covered when tucked into the skirt. Fits like a US size 4. Custom made in France.
