Classic 1980's Chanel Haute Couture skirt suit in royal blue bouclé diamond pattern wool. Jacket is fully lined and finished at the hem with the iconic gold chain. Five royal blue and gold metal lions head buttons up the front with 2 more on each cuff and on the flap of all four jacket pockets. The skirt is designed with an overlap effect and zips on the back of the hip. The condition is excellent with no soil, damage, pilling or other signs of wear. The Chanel couture label is well positioned at the back of the jacket. Fits like a US 4-6 and like all couture Chanel pieces there are ample seams in the jacket and the skirt for releasing up to 2 sizes. The value in this suit is unquestionable and priced less than todays current RTW. It's always a good time to invest in fashion history.
